Past and present
Over these years, great changes have taken place in many ways of our lives.
In the past, we watched TV and read newspapers in free time. Nowadays most families have
computers and we read newspapers and magazines on the Internet. As for travel, we used to go on
a trip by bike, bus or train. Now we travel abroad by air, even online, and travel around the world
without a passport. The road used to be narrow and dirty and the garbage was everywhere. Today
the streets are broad and clean with green trees on both sides. The government has built tall
buildings on large open spaces.
I take pride in great changes in our lives. I’m so happy that I can live a good life.
