Three days ago my parents took me to Beijing on vacation. I was very happy when I heard it.
On the way there, I looked out of the window to see the white clouds. I looked down and saw the beautiful city—the capital (首都) of China. It took us about three hours to get to Beijing. Everything was new and interesting because it was the first time I came here. We were tired, so we stayed at a hotel at first.
The next day we visited the Nanluoguxiang. It was really great! Then we went to the Palace Museum. It was so big and you could learn a lot about the history of China from it. People said that there are about 9，000 rooms in the Palace Museum. I became very interested in it. After coming out of it, it was around noon. We ate some different foods, like Beijing Roast Duck and noodles with soybean paste (炸酱面). They were so delicious. After lunch we went to Beijing Zoo. We saw a lot of animals there. The koalas were very cute and the elephants were friendly. Animals are all our friends. We must protect (保护) them.
The last day we went to the Great Wall. It is the longest (最长的) wall in the world. All in all, Beijing was great. It was an exciting vacation.

I took a trip to Ireland last weekend with my family. I didn't enjoy the trip because a lot of bad things happened (发生).
First，my brother forgot his passport (护照), and we missed our plane to Dublin. Mom wasn't very happy and blamed him. Luckily, there was another plane and we got on that one.
