For thousands of years, people have trained and studied homing pigeons (鸽子). These birds choose a homing place by the time they are six weeks old. When released (被放开) from a place that they don't know, they have a special ability to return to their home.
On its journey home, any pigeon can fly over 500 miles in a single day. One pigeon was released from
